An “unbreakable” glass is a bit like an “indestructible” dog chew. And yet, here we have a bona fide “unzerbrechlicher Becher,” German for “unbreakable beaker.” The ultra-thick glass and armed prunts have successfully warded off clumsy hands for 370 years and counting.
